There will be separate poster contests for undergraduate research and graduate research and the top two winners will receive a cash reward. The award amounts will be $400 and $200 for first and second place graduate posters and $200 and $100 for first and second place undergraduate posters. The awards ceremony for top undergraduate and graduate poster presentations will be held in conjunction with the high school art contest.

For both contest categories, a minimum of 5 students will be required to register (and present) for the contest. Registration is required by email by 5 pm Nov. 3. Registration materials include: a photo, brief professional biosketch (limited to 1 paragraph), title of poster, academic mentor, co-authors (if any) and abstract of research to be presented. If either of the poster categories fails to meet the 5 student minimum, the contest for that category will not take place (with notification). Contestants do NOT need to be ACS members to present.
